Tweet App From AppStore With AppTweeter (Cydia)

AppStore has a very large collection of applications. And when I say large I am referring to more than half a million items. That’s a good thing because you have a lot of options when you need something. But sometimes, the number of similar apps can be very high, therefore, a little bit annoying because you don’t know which one should you pick. A great help might come from a friend which recommends you one. I think that you would share your opinion with your friends over a specific application, if you would have the means to easily do that. Most of you know are thinking to that command in AppStore application which lets you tell a friend about the app you have just found. But this does not work as well as you would expect to.Therefore we looked for an application which could help you in this regard. And we have found it: AppTweeter. Today we will make a short review for it.

First of all you should know that this app is not a standard iPhone application but a Cydia Tweak. In order to share the news with your friends for an app which has been just released, you will still use the “Tell A Friend” button but you will be doing that in AppTweeter, and, obviously you will share it through the popular Twitter network.

There are some major benefits with which this apps comes. After installing it, you will notice that between the sharing options you are offered in AppStore, a new feature will appear: you will be able to share the news on Twitter. Also, you could put your own description, using the micro-blogging network. The option to share it via e-mail still remains valid, and can be accessed directly from the AppStore.

After you setup AppTweeter, it will be activated instantaneous and you will be provided with three sharing options. When spreading the news on Twitter, you have the possibility to provide directly the description of the application, the title, the size, the link or developer’s name on the popular social network. This sharing possibilities could be setup as default by accessing the Settings menu of this app.

You should know that AppTweeter works only on iPhones or iPads which have suffered a jailbreak and are running on iOS5 also. The app is in fact a Cysia Tweak, therefore is free and it is being provided by BigBoss.
