Intel Announces Delay For Ivy Bridge 22nm Processors

The delay of the third processors Core iX generation, codenamed Ivy Bridge has been confirmed by Intel. This is not the result of any logistical constraints, but actually a delay in the processor manufacturing line,of the new 22nm technology from Intel. Originally scheduled for the first quarter of 2012, the Intel Ivy Bridge series of processors should finally see the light sometime at the end of April.

Intel Cuts Down Its Revenue Forecast Due To Thailand Floods

The chipmaker Intel Corp. cut on Monday its forecast for fourth-quarter earnings below Wall Street estimates, citing shortages in the supply of hard drives. Its shares fell nearly 4% in the recruitment morning.

Intel, based in the town of Santa Clara California, said it believed that their income in the fourth quarter will range between 13,400 and 14,000 million dollars. The previous revenue forecast was ranging between 14,200 and 15,200 million dollars in the last quarter. Analysts polled by FactSet had forecaster a revenue of 14,650 million dollars.
