The delay of the third processors Core iX generation, codenamed Ivy Bridge has been confirmed by Intel. This is not the result of any logistical constraints, but actually a delay in the processor manufacturing line,of the new 22nm technology from Intel. Originally scheduled for the first quarter of 2012, the Intel Ivy Bridge series of processors should finally see the light sometime at the end of April.
The new Intel Ivy Bridge processor line-up will have the difficult task of succeeding the excellent Sandy Bridge generation, like the Core i7 2700K or Core i5 2500K.
