It’s official! Amazon have just announced their newest device, an Android tablet called Kindle Fire.
Amazon has confirmed its intention to launch an Android tablet this year. Called Kindle Fire, the device will be on sale in the U.S. from 15th of November, at a starting price of $199.
Talking about the specs only, the Kindle Fire does not compete with a lot of tablets already available on the market. Instead, it is similar to a more advanced e-book reader that comes in direct competition with the device from Barnes & Nobles, Nook Color.
