Siri can now be installed on all the devices which run iOS5 with jailbreak. And this is possible thanks to Spire, which claims that everything is legal.

After a few months of work, a team of programmers, consisting of Grant Paul (chpwn), Steven Trouchton-Smith and Ryan Petrich have managed to realize an installer for Siri, Apple’s voice assistant, on each iOS 5 device with jailbreak.

The Spire application is available through Cydia, the third party applications store for iPhone, iPad, and iPod.

We were showing a few days ago a video produced by pod2g showing the untethered Jailbreak an iPhone 4 in iOS5.

Well the good news is that Monday morning pod2g announced that it has managed to make an untethered jailbreak on an iOS 5.0.1 version !

Still no release date or the list of devices affected by this jailbreak, as many of us are waiting.

Amazon – Verizon: 1 penny Phones

Great news! Amazon will sell almost all Verizon phones with 1 penny each.
Beginning with Monday, 17th of October, Amazon say that they will sell almost all of Verizon phones for 1 penny each. The transport cost is included but it will take 2 days for your phone to be delivered. Still I wonder what part of that penny is the transport?

Although Amazon didn’t say anything regarding the Verizon 1 penny phone, I expect that an activation fee to be required.
