Halfway between the smartphone and tablet , the Galaxy Note has already sold over two million units worldwide. The hybrid has been well received since its release in October 2011 and the company expects 2012 to be a good year and they estimate they will sell another ten million units. The Samsung smartphone family continues its run of success in the market. One of the terminals that surprised the most at its release, both industry experts and users at the time, was the Galaxy Note. In principle, some experts felt that the 5.3 inches smartphone from Samsung would not be as successful as others released before, such as the Galaxy S or the Galaxy S II . However, it has carved a niche in the market, thanks to the performance that it incorporates, being both a smartphone and a tablet. Galaxy Note was released in October 2011. In December, Samsung announced to have surpassed one million units shipped. Just two months later, the South Korean tech giant announced for the Forbes magazine that the device already has sold two million units. Following the success of this device, Samsung has not hesitated to launch the new generation of the Galaxy Note and in the same week introduced the Galaxy Note 10.1.
The Galaxy 10.1 Note uses Android 4.0 IceCream Sandwich, runs on a dual-core Exynos, 1.4 GHz, typical of the Korean company, together with 1 Gbyte of RAM and internal storage of 16, 32 and 64 Gbytes, expandable via microSD cards (up to 32 GB). As for its connectivity, it features Wi-Fi n (Option 3G), Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi Direct, A-GPS, accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, light sensor and dual front and rear camera. It also comes incorporates the S Note technology, a tool that combines notes or drawings with web content, images and other digital media custom storyboards. Its resolution is WXGA with 1280 x 800 pixels and its major asset is the support for styluses, as the Samsung S-Pen.
