The Samsung Galaxy series is probably the sales champion between all the Android smartphones. That’s because the Korean manufacturer always like to offer the most powerful and versatile equipment on this crazy market. Therefore, before the release of one model, all the people are eager to find out the new details that will amaze an entire world.

The same is the case with Samsung Galaxy S3. Everybody wants to know as much details as possible in which regards the hardware configuration and also the release date.

That’s exactly why there are a lot of rumors around this smartphone. First, we were told that Samsung Galaxy S3 should hit the stores in March, when it will be released at World Mobile Congress in Spain. But that didn’t prove to be true.

Speaking about WMC, you should know that the Galaxy S3 has already won the title of “Best Smartphone” in 2012. And that’s no wonder when we take a look at the some of the specifications of this phone: quad-core 1.5 GHz CPU, full 1080p compatibility and a sort of ceramic case. That’s enough to impress everybody.

However, the above mentioned specs also make from Samsung Galaxy S3 one of the most wanted devices in the world. An easy way to find out when a smartphone will be delivered is to check the carriers websites and announcements. That’s how the released date of this smartphone has been found out to be scheduled somewhere in Q3, in South Africa. But this is already contradicted by the Korean ZDNet publication which claims that, according to some marketing reports, Samsung has scheduled Galaxy S3 for April, 2012.

Another interesting fact that is highlighted in the above mentioned reports suggests that the new smartphone is going to be released, for the first time, in London. We cannot say for sure if this is true. But there are chances that this thing to happen, having in mind that this summer the Olympic Games will be hosted in the capital of UK.

Another aspect that could prove that the above mentioned facts could happen comes from the fact that Apple, the biggest rival of the Korean company, is said to be preparing to release its new flagship, iPhone 5, in time to be presented at WWDC 12.

On the software side, everybody is expecting that Galaxy S3 to come with a new operating system at its release date. So, having in mind that Galaxy S2 is running an Android Gingerbread but it is also able to upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, we are expecting that its predecessor to run Android 5.0 Jelly Bean.
