Samsung Galaxy S3 Pre-Ordered At Amazon

You can pre-order your Samsung Galaxy S3 from Amazon.

Samsung Galaxy S3 is, without any doubt, the most awaited Android smartphone nowadays. A few days ago we have presented you the a video which is supposed to be leaked on a Vietnamese website.

We also know that Samsung has scheduled an event, which is called ‘Come and meet the new Galaxy’. Therefore everybody now is thinking that this event, which is scheduled on 3^rd of May and will be held in London, is meant to present the new Galaxy S3, the Korean based company’s flagship that is making the android fans to startle when they are thinking how many new features and improvements this smartphone will bring on the market.

If the above mentioned official teaser was not enough for those which have failed to believe all of these rumors, the German branch of the well-known online retailer, Amazon, has already begun to gain pre-orders for the popular by now Samsung Galaxy S3.

After taking a look on Amazon’s announcement we could pull the conclusion that wither the Vietnamese guys are wrong or the famous retailer doesn’t know quite well what it is selling. That’s because, in the above mentioned leaked video, Galaxy S3 should have a 4.6 inch display, and 8 Megapixels camera. Meanwhile, amazon says the new Android smartphone will feature a 4.7 inch display and a 12 megapixels camera.

If you ask me, I will believe Amazon and I could say that I also agree with all the rumors according to which the new device will have a 4.7 inch display and 12 MP camera sensor.

The price with which amazon wants to sell the new Galaxy S3 is EUR 599 which, if converted to US dollars, this would mean about $800. However, as we all know, these big companies are not using quite the exact exchange rate that we know, and it is likely that US clients to benefit of better prices. Obviously, the price I have been provided above is the one for devices which will be bought contract free.

Reverting to the video leak in which Samsung Galaxy S3 was presumed to be involved in, we can only pull the conclusion that the device shown there was one of the many prototypes that Samsung has produced and tested until they have settled with a single good one.

I really believe that Samsung Galaxy S3 will have an extremely good looking display as we all know that the Korean company is sort of a world leader in providing LCD panels, not to mention the Super AMOLED ones. And, with each Galaxy generation, they have proved that they are able to come on the market with impressive displays, too. Because a very good screen needs also nice pictures to display, I can bet that the camera on the new device will manage to produce high quality pictures. Therefore I would say that a 12 megapixels sensor is the minimum that Samsung has decided to embed in their new Galaxy S3. The internal memory is set to be 16 GB and, obviously, we will have the possibility to extend it while using a microSD card. The operating system is, perhaps, the only component in the smartphone which everybody agrees with: Android 4.0 ICS.

Other rumors are stating that the new Galaxy S3 will have a ceramic case which will look great but also it will be very scratches resistive.
