Another leaked image featuring Samsung Galaxy S3. True or fake?
When compared with all the leaked images of Samsung Galaxy S3, this might look as a real picture and not a rendered one. However this doesn’t make it really trusty even if it respects all the rumors regarding the design of the new Korean based company flagship.
The latest rumors are saying that Galaxy S3 will keep the Home button (which can also be seen in this leaked image, too), just like its predecessors: S2 and S. This happens even if Android ICS 4.0.3 has the software button placed in its main dock. But this can be believed, though, because it is useful to have a hardware button with which you can start the task manager with a long press, or revert from any of the menus or applications, too.
If this leaked image of Samsung Galaxy S3 is really valid, I would have preferred that the new Android smartphone to come on the market with a design which would be much closer to Galaxy Nexus: a piece of black glass under which no edges could be seen until the display starts.
Other rumors, related to the Galaxy S3 huge display, say that no less than 5 columns with icons will be shown simultaneously, when entering the Applications menu. This is rather a Galaxy Note characteristic because most of the Android smartphones are displaying up to 4 columns. If we believe that the above mentioned leaked image is true, than it confirms that the new Samsung Galaxy S3 will be able to show 5 columns of icons.
Regarding its release date, you should know that many rumors have said that Galaxy S3 will come on the market at the end of this month. However, another leaked image (fake or not…nobody knows) is saying that the new Android smartphone should be presented on 22nd of May in London, United Kingdom.
Obviously Samsung has not confirmed any of the above mentioned rumors on Galaxy S3, nor those leaked images.
