Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Prime) Leaked Photo and Specs

Finally Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Prime) will be released in a couple of hours. We already have a lot of leaked information and pictures on this subject.

Originally scheduled for October 11and also officially postponed until tomorrow, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Prime) has finally been released before its time by the Japanese operator DoCoMo. You can see above the leaked photo.

Everything is confirmed: the screen will have a diagonal of 4.65 inch in HD. Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Prime) will  come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. the processor is provided by Texas Instruments (not Samsung) and it is a dual-core, clocked at 1.2 GHz.

Without waiting for for the Google Samsung Nexus event, DoCoMo decided to leak some info about its new release: Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Prime)

 

The brochure mentions the following specs: the Super AMOLED 4.65” display will have an 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, with “curved glass”. The photo experience will be insured by a 5-megapixel photo sensor (only) with flash. Also the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Prime) is able to record video clips in HD resolution, at 1080p; An 1.3 megapixel webcam is available on the front of the smartphone.

As said on the above the TI OMAP 4460 dual-core Cortex A9 processor is running at  1.2 GHz. Even the amount of RAM memory has leaked: 1GB RAM. The ROM responsible for storage space  will have a size of 32 GB.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Prime)will also feature Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS and proximity sensors.

The 1750 mAh battery will ensure a good autonomy. I am certain that it will be able to keep the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Prime) in full throttle for more than 1 day.

The dimensions for the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Prime) will be  136 x 68 x 11.5 mm (8.8 mm at its end). With a weight of just 135 g the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Prime) is surprisingly light.

Some info which has leaked a while ago reported the loss of the physical buttons below the screen. It seems that this was true, the physical keys have made way to three sensitive items. Also, the curvature of the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Prime) is less pronounced that we have expected.

As announced on 11th of October the Samsung Google event will be the time for the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Prime) to be launched. Also, the smartphone will come with the new operating OS, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The phone review specialized site also said that Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Prime) will clearly be the most impressive smartphone its class. And that might be because the iPhone 4 (and hence the 4S) has a 326 dpi screen, but its size is only of 3.5 inches. On the other hand, the 4.65-inch Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Prime) screen would make a huge positive difference that will please everyone.
