Forced by Motorola, Apple withdraws iPhones and iPads from its German online store.
It seems that the Cupertino giant is not always right when it comes to the lawsuits involving patents and, in fact, we have already discussed some interesting cases. It seems that now, Apple has some issues with Motorola, and whoever thought that conflicts with Apple only affect Samsung was clearly wrong.
Probably most of you are already aware of the patent problems that continually feature major companies such as Apple and Samsung and, in this case, we tend to keep you aware when we get any news of interest.
However, Apple’s actions to try to veto or stop certain products, as it did with the tablet of Nt-Catala, do not always go well, and this attitude may end up turning against them. Evidence of this is found in the decision of the above mentioned company to sue Apple. And now here comes Motorola.
This manufacturer went to court to file a patent lawsuit issue and considered that it was the right thing to do. As a result, Motorola was able to obtain the sales freeze for certain Apple devices (specifically the iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4) in the Apple online store. However, they remain accessible in physical stores.
Needless to say, Apple will appeal the decision and if changes do occur, do not doubt that we will keep you posted.
