Jailbreak disadvantages

There are not many disadvantages coming from a jailbreak process. As we have said before, this process is completely reversible through a simple restore from iTunes. The only real disadvantages are coming from the fact that your jailbreak process could block. In this particular situation you just have to re-start it. But this is not happen to often.

Also, Cydia sometimes is very slow. And without a Wi-Fi connection, it might not work at all.

Is jailbreak legal?

YES! In US there have been some attempts to get the jailbreak process outside the law. But an Instance Court had given the verdict according to which this process is perfectly legal, as long as it is not using a code line which is somebody else’s property.

Does the jailbreak process voids the warranty of an iPhone/ iPad/ iPod (iOS)?

All the official sources will answer ‘Yes’ at this question. However, this might not be true. As the jailbreak process is completely reversible by using a simple restore function, no one can know that this process has been applied to a certain device. So, in our opinion, it cannot void the warranty of a product.
