We add today another rumor to the series that has already been created. This time, the newest rumor on iPad 3 suggests the fact that it will provide 4G LTE connectivity. This information comes straight from a source inside Apple. Apparently, this source has adviced the iMore blog that the new iPad 3 will receive this interesting feature. Unfortunately, only the information which is related to the fact that iPad 3 will feature 4G LTE connectivity has been rumored. Although, this is not 100% accurate, we really think that it would be a proper moment for a iDevice to embed this technology. That’s because most of the US carriers are now offering this type of connectivity.
The problem is that iPad 3 will not be sold only in US. Because various networks across the world are using the 4G LTE connectivity in different ways, we are wondering how the Apple tablet will be able to handle them. A while ago, Wall Street Journal has informed that iPad 3 tablet could come with 4G LTE connectivity. In that moment, everyone was worried about the fact this feature will have a negative effect against the battery and the costs of this tablet.
M.I.C. Gadget website has managed to obtain an iPad 3 case and glass. Based on their expertise and on the advises coming from their sources, they have declared yesterday that the Apple tablet is not going to come on the market with 4G LTE connectivity. However, if the 4G LTE connectivity will be embedded in iPad 3, it is most probable that it will for sure cost more than the Qualcomm 3G chip. Another disadvantage which comes against this technology is the fact that, for the moment, 4G LTE doesn’t have a very well developed market.
In my personal opinion, I don’t think that this rumor is true. That’s because Apple is very careful when taking such a decision. And because a 4G LTE chip could affect the way that iPad will look, will cost and will work, there are big chances that this project to be postponed for the moment.

The storage options for the new iPad 3 are rumored to be the same as in the case of its predecessor. Therefore we will receive 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB versions. This has been confirmed by M.I.C. Gadgets and 9toMac, too.
Between other rumored features in iPad 3 we mention the Retina display which will have a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels (which is 4 times more than in the previous version) and Full HD 1080p compatibility. The AMOLED display is not probable to be delivered. Instead, we consider there are big chances that an IPS display to be presented.
The diagonal of the new iPAd 3 is rumored to have a size of 9.7 inches. The main photo camera should have a 5 mega pixels sensor and the frontal one should be able to record with a resolution of 720p.
Tomorrow we will find out for sure if the new iPad 3 will feature 4G LTE technology and all the other rumored features.
