This is the tutorial on how to take a screenshot on your Android phone.

The procedure needed to follow in order to take a screenshot on Android requires downloading a free software, called Android SDK. It will be installed on your personal computer and not on your Android smartphone. Also, please be informed that we will describe this procedure of taking screenshots, considering Windows 7 as operating system on our computer. The differences in this procedure between this latest version of windows and others is minimal.

1.Download Android SDK, free. Extract everything from that archive and run SDK Setup.exe. Then install al the packages offered by this software.

2.Connect your Android device through USB to your laptop or computer. Activate the USB debugging (select the checkbox in Applications and Development).

3.Install your phone on the computer. Go to “Control Panel” and select “Device Manager”. Look for ADB device in the list. Right click on it and select “Update Driver”. In the window that will appear, go to Windows USB-Driver in SDK.

4.Run the ddms.bat bile. It is located in the tools directory. Your phone should appear in the menu, in the top left corner.

5.Press CTRL and S to take a screenshot of your Android.
