Curiosa is a a new tweak which has been published in Cydia. It is still in developing stage, therefore, you will be able to download only the beta version, for the moment. Its scope is to announce us, through a push notification, when an update for a Cydia tweak, that we have installed on our phone, is available.
The notifications that are being sent through the new Cydia tweak are totally integrated with iOS, so they will work exactly the same as other notifications which are received from different applications. Curiosa also has a dedicated field in the Settings menu where we could accomplish some advanced settings. Here we can set the time period in which Curiosa is checking if any updates are available from Cydia, or we can even set that this checking to be done when our iDevice is connected to a Wi-Fi network.
Furthermore, besides the automatic search, users are provided with the possibility to use a manual search for different updates. This can be done by taping on the “refresh now” button which is available in the menu of this tweak. You can even set a gesture for the Activator in order to do a manual search and this can be a very interesting and useful option, too.
For the moment, Curiosa is its first beta stage. However it can be installed for free by anyone who visits the Ryan Petrich’s repo, which can be found at the following address: http://rpetri.ch/repo/
