Just another rumor on Google Nexus Prime?

According to Black_Man_X, a well known Twitter informant for his accurate predictions, Samsung may not be the only company to introduce a smartphone based on the unmodified mobile operating system Google Android Ice Cream Sandwich this year.

As you know, under the name Nexus, the search giant usually launches the flagship phones, offering a clean Android environment  without any additions from the manufacturer or mobile operator. There have been only 2 until now: Nexus One and Nexus S. This month, million of fans expect the launch of the third – Google Nexus Prime from Samsung.

However, in one of his posts, Black_Man_X hinted that at the end of the year we will see other smartphones, based on the “clean” version of Android Ice Cream Sandwich. In another report he said that such devices will not be produces only by Samsung but also HTC and Motorola. Unfortunately he did not inform us about the exact date or the exact model.

As expected, the model for Google’s new mobile OS will be the Nexus Prime, who, by tradition, will be the first to receive the latest updates. If HTC and Motorola will also present their own mobile devices without interfaces, these smartphones, can be expected to get quick updates as well. However, this will most likely be ordinary phones, without the Nexus name in their title and, accordingly, without any marketing positioning.

There are doubts about the fairness of this leak. If rumors about the Google Nexus Prime are periodically leaked, information about the upcoming HTC and Motorola devices indicate only models with Android 2.3 and native interfaces. However, the devices with unmodified Ice Cream Sandwich can be kept in strict confidence as they will start much later.
