GIFanim Lets You Create Animated GIFs From Still Photos Or Images

The GIFanim is an application that lets you create GIFs from still photos or images quickly. All you have to do is to open two or more photos with GIFanim application and it will create an animated GIF file based on them.

This application is very simple, but to make sure that you get the best result you will have to always choose the right images. With GIFanim application you can create a GIF with a sequence of images, you can add an animation to illustrate a change – showing a before and after – and much more.

Unfortunately, you cannot use videos with GIFanim, as the program can only work with static image files; nonetheless this should not be a problem. To load the images in GIFanim, go to Open> Files and select the items you want. At this point you should not worry about the order, as you can fix this later on.

The images will be shown in an open list. To arrange the order of the animation, you have to click on a file from the list and then press the buttons with arrow-shaped icons to play, up or down. To remove a frame from GIFanim, select the one you want and click the black stop button.

Set the display time of each frame in “Default Frame Delay” and click “Preview” to see the outcome of your animation. In case you notice that an image is still out of place or if you want to change the time again, you can make changes and then click the button again to advance.

Once you’re satisfied with your selection, save the file and use it wherever you wish. Because the result is a GIF image, the color scheme is somehow limited, so it is possible that the images will not have the same quality as before but at least the animation is working!

Anyone looking for a good program to create GIFs, will find in GIFanim an option that should be at least tried out. It is very easy to use and extremely lightweight, taking up less than 1 MB on your hard drive. Even with the reduced size, the application can be fully functional and relatively complete.

GIFanim supports all major image formats such as JPG, BMP and PNG, and has editing options for the GIF to create them in anyway you want. Another advantage of the tool is showing exactly how your GIF will look like.

It has no additional options, such as a tool for resizing or video support, but this does not make the application unusable. GIFanim is a great tool for those who want to create GIFs quickly and with not much effort.
