Apple released the third generation of the iPad on Wednesday, calling it simply “The New iPad”, so many are already wondering when Samsung is going to refresh its Galaxy Tab lineup to compete with Apple’s newest product.
Well, the truth is that Samsung believes that the new iPad actually has a competitor that was launched in February, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 running Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The Galaxy Note 10.1 was released this year at the MWC 2012 in Barcelona, making it the most recent tablet device in Samsung’s Android tablets line-up.
When Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet running Android Gingerbread was officially presented, it was received with high regards by both technology journalists and casual tablet users. Journalists are happy that the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet approaches the tablet market in a different way, a market which is already over-saturated by the numerous devices doing pretty much the same thing.
In a Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet versus new iPad comparison, some technology experts actually believe that Samsung’s tablet can win the battle, thanks to its size and to the possibilities it has to offer when compared to the new iPad. The below image shows what are the advantages that the Galaxy Note 10.1 Android tablet has versus the new iPad from Apple.
We are all well aware of the big disputes between Samsung and Apple in terms of their devices but the war reached higher grounds recently when Samsung released a series of ads that try to illustrate the fact that the world has been “Samsunged”. The recent adverts show a random Samsung user showing off in front of Apple fans, waiting for a new product to be launched.
Even though the two companies sued each other in various countries, for reasons regarding numerous patents, we do not see the end of the war being nowhere near, especially with the latest Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet versus the new iPad.
