Foxconn manager says that the release date for the next iPhone 5 is in June.

Many rumors are flowing these days on the new iPhone 5 and its un-official release date. First of all we have to keep in mind that iPhone 4S has been released in October, 2011. For many people this was a big disappointment. And this could be exactly the reason for which we receive all kind of news on the next new release.

However, an official from Foxconn, the main manufacturer which Apple uses in order to get their products, has declared that iPhone 5 could be released in June, this year.

In an interview taken by a Japanese TV channel, this manager has spoken about an imminent hire of no less than 18 thousand people, which are needed for manufacturing the next iPhone. Then he declared that it looks like the next Apple smartphone has the release date set in June.

The above mentioned workers will deal exclusively with the new iPhone 5 mass production.

Many rumors on Foxconn have appeared lately: it is said that the largest company in the Chinese private sectors is not treating so well their employees. A non-profit association from Hong Kong has declared that students are forced to work on the assembly lines at Foxconn in order to graduate. This comes despite Terry Gou’s official declaration, according to which the pay bills for all of the company’s employers (which are no less than 1.2 million) would be raised together with a decrease of their working hours.

Having in mind that this information came after the Apple CEO, Tim Cook, has visited the Zhenghou manufacturing utility, it should receive a reply from the Cupertino based company. But, in the same time, let’s not forget that Apple always loves to keep us under pressure while waiting for their new products to be released.

However, if we take a look back, we see that all the iPhone versions have been released in June.

Those which have bought a new iPhone 4S or have signed a 2 year contract with a carrier for this device will not be so happy when finding out that the new smartphone is coming so soon on the market. Of course, those which were not so convinced to upgrade from iPhone 4 to 4S will feel much better. We are sure that the rumors on the next Apple smartphone will be continue to appear in the following months. However we do not hurry up to make statements about the release date of this device.
