For some while ago, rumors have flowed about Samsung preparing to roll out the Android 4.0 ICS update for Galaxy S2 smartphone. Yesterday, we had the official confirmation that the Ice Cream Sandwich has finally arrived for the devices which have been sold in Korea, Sweden, Poland and Hungary. Of course, Samsung will deliver the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update to all other countries in which it is selling its Galaxy S2, soon.
It’s kind of a similar situation with HTC: an official has declared that the Taiwan based company is currently delivering the Android 4.0 ICS system update to just a few HTC users because the OS has not been yet officially finalized by the company.
The first HTC smartphones which will receive this update are Sensation and Sensation XE. The next phones which will be able to upgrade to the new OS from Google should be HTC Sensation 4G and Sensation XL.
