The latest rumors on iPhone 5: it will come with Retina Display and 4.6 inch screen. Is that so?

Apple’s components producers seem to have to work again on a new part of the next iPhone 5.

If the un-official information is correct, the display which has been ordered by Apple for its future iPhone 5 is a 4.6 inch type. The list of producers for this new type of screen may include LG and Samsung, bot these companies being preferred as providers for the the old iPhone generations.

As the new iPad 3, it is likely for iPhone 5 to come with a Retina display. Therefore, extremely clear images, rendered with the help of an LCD 330 ppi density matrix are being promised by the Cupertino based company.

The same sources are placing the release date for iPhone 5 somewhere in the second half of this year.

The new rumors are coming after we have found out about the existing of a new iPhone model with a 4 inch display. Even if it is not a 4.6 inch type, this display could be also an improvement, having in mind that all iPhone generations which have produced until now are being equipped with 3.5 inch screens. But the genuine of this information is not so worst to trust as the release date is scheduled after 6 to 9 months after iPhone 4S has come on the market.

In my personal opinion, the 4.6 inch display is just a rumor which will never become truth. That’s because I am quite confident that Apple will stick to the their standard dimension as the concept of this company is that any corner of this device should be reached with the user’s fingers, while keeping th phone with just one hand. I know that most of the iPhone 5 competitors are coming with larger screens, but the above mentioned action is impossible to accomplish on them. Yes, I admit that a larger screen is excellent for nowadays users’ requirements when it comes to smartphones. We are watching movies and navigating on the web while using our mobile devices. However, Apple is convinced by the fact that a better experience in the movie and web navigating fields is being offered by a tablet like their iPad 3, than by a simple smartphone.

Even if I do not agree completely with apple concept on smartphone screen sizes, I consider that the 4.6 inch iPhone 5 display is just a rumor which has been issued in order for different websites to have new writing material. In what concerns the Retina Display is somehow logic that this new technology will be found in the next smartphone which will be released by the Cupertino based company. The released date placed somewhere in the second half of this year looks like a very optimistic thought to me, again.
